The traditional All-Ukrainian tournament in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling took place in the Dnieper. Competitions were held in the sports complex UGHTU and collected a lot
supporters of these sports. At the same time, competitions of the 8th All-Ukrainian tournament of memory of veterans of the Dnipropetrovsk region
among the young men of 2002-2004 of birth and the Cup of Ukraine among veterans in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling. Organizers of competitions-International

Ukrainy, predstaviteley kul’tury i obrazovaniya. Sredi pochetnykh gostey byli zasluzhennyye trenery Ukrainy Nikolay Makhin’ko, Nikolay Stavrinov,
Anatoliy Pirog i drugiye proslavlennyye trenery i veterany sporta, zamestitel’ predsedatelya Dnepropetrovskoy oblastnoy gosudarstvennoy administratsii
Dmitriy Batura, prezident SK «Dzyudo-80» Lev Lutsenko, prizer Olimpiyskikh igr i zasluzhennyy master sporta Ukrainy Dina Miftakhutdinova. Vse oni i mnogiye
drugiye predstaviteli Dnepra prishli podderzhat’ etot prazdnik sportivnoy bor’by.
U veteranov v Kubke Ukrainy sorevnovalis’ 80 predstaviteley 12 oblastey nashey strany. Oni byli razdeleny na diviziony po vesovym i vozrastnym kategoriyam.
Divizion A (35-40 let). Divizion B (41-45 let), divizion C (46-50 let), divizion D (51-55 let). Chempionat E (56-60 let), divizion F (61-65 let),
divizion G (66-70 + let).
Naystarshemu uchastniku sorevnovaniy Vasiliy Vovchuk iz Dnepra na moment uchastiya v Kubke Ukrainy – 75 let.
Sorevnovalis’ veterany v vesovykh kategoriyakh 62,70,78,88,100 i 130 kg. V itoge v obshchekomandnom zachete pobedili veterany sbornoy
Dnepropetrovskoy oblasti. Oni zavoyevali 33 medali (18 zolotykh i 15 serebryanykh). Na vtorom meste sportsmeny Poltavshchiny, bronzovyye nagrady u sbornoy
Dnepropetrovsk Regional State Administration. Traditionally, the organizers have united Obl2 competitions of veterans and juniors, which turns tournaments into a real
festival of sport, experience and youth. Young men compete next to the legendary experienced veterans of the sport and thanks to their own example, more and more
and are more attached to their favorite business.
At the opening ceremony of the competition there were many representatives of the sports community, patrons of the Dnipro, honored coaches
Ukraine, representatives of culture and education. Among the guests of honor were Honored Coaches of Ukraine Nikolai Makhinko, Nikolai Stavrinov,
Anatoly Pirog and other renowned trainers and veterans of sports, deputy chairman of the Dnepropetrovsk regional state administration
Dmitry Batura, President of the IC “Judo-80” Lev Lutsenko, winner of the Olympic Games and Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine Dina Miftahutdinova. All of them and many
other representatives of the Dnieper came to support this holiday of wrestling.
Veterans in the Cup of Ukraine competed 80 representatives of 12 regions of our country. They were divided into divisions by weight and age categories.
Division A (35-40 years). Division B (41-45 years), Division C (46-50 years), Division D (51-55 years). Championship E (56-60 years), Division F (61-65 years),
Division G (66-70 + years).
The oldest participant of the competition Vasily Vovchuk from the Dnieper at the time of participation in the Cup of Ukraine – 75 years.
The veterans competed in the weight categories 62,70,78,88,100 and 130 kg. As a result, team veterans defeated veterans of the national team
Dnepropetrovsk region. They won 33 medals (18 gold and 15 silver). In second place athletes of Poltava region, bronze medals from the national team
